What is nappy rash

Nappy rash is a general term for any rashes which occur around babies' nappy area. The rashes may be red, blotchy or sometimes spotty. The rash may extend to parts of the tummy where the nappy covers, over the groins and genitals, and around the buttocks area. The rash may appear all over the mentioned areas or just at one specific area.
